Depends on the policies local to the test center you have chosen!
Generally, you would NOT be allowed to take your own pen or paper to the exam desk, but they would provide you with a mini-whiteboard-and-marker or a pen-and-paper.
My recommendation for you is to contact your test center and ask them what they'd allow.
